Para-xylene is a colorless, transparent liquid with aromatic odor, specific gravity 0.861g/cm3, and boiling point 138.3°C. It is one of the basic raw materials for the petrochemical industry. The company has been operating since 1998 and currently has an annual production capacity of 1.97 million tons.
Uses
- Para-xylene is mainly used to produce terephthalic acid (PTA).
- Para-xylene can be used to produce important intermediates such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and industrial plastics.
